Privacy Policy for Focus Ticker

Focus Ticker ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our mobile application.

1. No User Accounts

We do not require you to create an account, provide your email address, or set a password to use Focus Ticker. Your focus sessions, settings, and "portfolio" data are stored locally on your device or synced via your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to your personal files or identity.

2. Screen Time & App Blocking

Focus Ticker uses Apple's Family Controls and Device Activity frameworks to provide the app blocking functionality.

How it works: We use this API solely to restrict access to the apps you select during a focus session.

Privacy: We do not (and cannot) see which specific websites you visit, read your messages, or track your activity inside other apps. Apple’s privacy protections prevent us from accessing this sensitive data.

Data Sharing: Data related to your Screen Time usage is never sold to third parties or used for advertising purposes.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions (Focus Ticker Pro).

Payment Data: All payments are processed securely by Apple via the App Store. We never see or store your credit card information or billing address.

Identifiers: We may share an anonymous App User ID with RevenueCat to validate your subscription status and ensure you get the features you paid for.

4. Leaderboard Data

If you choose to participate in the Global Leaderboard:

• We collect the generic nickname you create and your "Net Worth" (focus score).
• This information is public to other users of the app.

Please do not use your real name or sensitive personal information as your nickname.

5. Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (e.g., "User started a 25-minute session," "User crashed the market") to help us improve the app and fix bugs. This data is not linked to your personal identity.

6. Children’s Privacy

Focus Ticker is not intended for use by children under the age of 4. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
